WORKING WITH DOCUMENTS
Editing documents
You can edit your own documents in a database if you have at least Author access to the database. You can edit other documents in a database if you have at least Editor access to the database. A document must be in Edit mode for you to make changes to it.
Open or select a document to edit, then do any of the following to put the document in Edit mode:
Choose Actions - Edit Document.
Press CTRL+E (Macintosh users, COMMAND+E).
Double-click in the text of an open document.
Notes
To return the document to Read mode, press CTRL+E (Macintosh users, COMMAND+E). Putting a document in Read mode prevents you from making edits in the document.
Double-click in the text area of an open document in the preview pane to put a document appearing in the preview pane in Edit mode.
