Customizing invitations to chats and instant meetings
Note The features described in this topic are available only if your company has an IBM Lotus instant messaging (Sametime) server, and only for Windows versions of IBM Lotus Notes.

You can customize the default messages that appear when you send invitations to a chat in-progress or when you start an instant chat meeting. You can also edit these messages any time you send the invitation.

1. Choose File - Preferences - User Preferences.

2. Click Instant Messaging - General.

3. In the "Default text for invite to chat" field, enter the text you want to appear when you invite other people to join a chat in-progress, or when you start a chat meeting.

4. Click OK.
