Responding to an instant meeting invitation
Note The features described in this topic are available only if your company has an IBM Lotus instant messaging (Sametime) server, and only for Windows versions of IBM Lotus Notes.

Others can invite you to an instant meeting. If you are invited to a meeting, you can respond in the following ways:

To respond privately by chatting with only the person sending the invitation, click Respond. The invitation remains on your screen, and you can join the meeting at any time.
To accept the invitation, click Join.
To decline and close the invitation, click Close.
Note If you close the invitation, the person who started the meeting receives no notification.

Tips

To send a private chat message to someone in the participants list of an active meeting, select a name, choose Meeting - People - Chat, enter your message, and press Enter.
To add someone in the participants list of an active meeting to the Instant Messaging Contact List, select the name and choose Meeting - People - Add to List.
