Registering Domino Web Access users
When registering users, choose "Domino Web Access" as the mail system. By default, the INOTES6.NTF template should be selected. If it is not, select it. The INOTES6.NTF template contains mail template support for the Domino Web Access client and the Notes client.
Follow the instructions for
registering
new users, and keep the following information in mind:
The mail system, "Domino Web Access," does not automatically create a Notes ID for the person. You must select "Create a Notes ID for this person."
Under "Password Options," enable "Synch Internet password with Notes ID password." Making the passwords the same makes it easier to manage passwords and allows Notes users to work offline with Domino Web Access.
When deploying Domino Web Access to a large number of users, make any hierarchical or name changes before registering new users.
Domino Web Access cannot read
S/MIME encrypted mail.
